Do You Only Do Commercial Roofing?
In addition to commercial roofing, USA General Contractors Corp. also provides roof repairs and building maintenance, residential roofing and siding, Metal Fabrication & Installation, solar attachments and installation, masonry restoration and repairs, and other general construction services.
What Are The Signs I Need A New Commercial Roof?
The lifespan of commercial roofs varies depending on the type of roofing system you currently have. Commercial roofs are designed to endure but if you begin to notice things like water stains on the ceiling and walls, leaks, mold, and/or missing or curling shingles, it may be time to have one of our commercial roofing professionals investigate. If you can’t remember the last time someone conducted maintenance and a survey, do not wait any longer.
Should I Replace Or Repair The Roof?
In many instances, you can repair an existing roof if you have good insulation already in place and simply requiring a re-roof. If this option is suitable, we usually recommend going this route since you can save money by coating, repairing or installing a roof system over the existing roof.

There are many instances a completely new roofing system would need to be installed and take the place of an existing roofing system. If your existing structure has already had a re-roofing repair done and already has two roofs, a new system is recommended. Commercial buildings by law cannot have more than two roofing systems. Additionally, if your existing structure has damage, saturated, or unstable roofing deck structure that is unsafe and cannot be repaired, then a new commercial roofing system would need to be added.

What Types Of Roofing Systems Do You Offer?
We install low slope commercial single-ply roofing (fully adhered and mechanically attached), built-up, modified bitumen (cold adhesive or hot asphalt), and torch applied roofing. We install steep slope shingle and metal roofs.
Does The Type Of Roof Matter?
Because roofing systems differ, the type of roof depends on the business. Retail businesses, hospitals, and shopping centers have very different roofing needs and requirements compared to warehouse facilities that house large quantities of goods. Also, places like restaurants, dry cleaners, and other businesses have exhaust systems that could potentially deteriorate a roof overtime making their roofing needs different from a retail business that give comfort to their customers and employees.
What Is The Average Lifespan Of A Commercial Roofing System?
How long your roof lasts depend on many factors such as weather conditions, the type of roof system and of course, whether or not regular maintenance and upkeep is done. Some of the averages for common roofing systems (when properly maintenance) are as follows:

  • Built-up roofs can last between 25 to 30 years
  • Metal can last 30 to 45 years
  • Single ply TPO can last 20 to 25 years
  • Single ply EPDM can last 20 to 25 years
  • Shingle roofs can last 20 to 25 years
How Much Does A New Roofing System Cost?
The cost of a new roofing system is dependent on many factors such as the size and height of the building, type of roof being removed, the type of new roof being installed, the location of dumpsters and staging area, the quantity of penetrations and equipment on the roof and many others. The roofing material cost can vary significantly depending on the type of roofing your building needs or requires. The cost for a single ply roof will typically be lower than a modified or built-up roof.
What Should I Do If My Roof Has A Leak?
USA GCC knows commercial roofing systems are crucial in keeping your NJ business protected all year long. In addition to complete installations, our dedicated roofing technicians also provide 24/7 emergency services, 365 days a year to make sure your building, equipment, and staff can always keep running safely and efficiently.
Do You Provide Ongoing Maintenance Services?
Yes. Roof maintenance (or preventative maintenance) is an essential investment for commercial and residential properties to protect themselves from costly future repairs and replacements. In addition, proper roof maintenance will increase the life of your roof. We are able to provide ongoing building and roof maintenance services so minor problems can be identified early on and addressed before they grow into larger issues.
